Web Design Experience: Self-righteous Web Designers

1. Trash or Classic? Web technology updates very quickly, and the interface design life of a website is only 2-3 years. Whether it is garbage or fine work, there is no such thing as a classic. Classics only exist when something innovative is successfully applied for the first time. Regardless of their knowledge, skills and experience, web designers think they are invincible. This may be due to the strong subjective factors reflected in the self-awareness of commercial design. What a person who works in isolation produces is far inferior to what a comprehensive borrower can produce. Web design is different from other arts. In the field of imitation and innovation, even if it is completely designed by oneself, most of the user habits that people have already recognized are adopted, and the traces of inheritance are very obvious! Is there any designer who dares to say with a shameless face that these are all my original designs? For the industry, classic is just a concept and a symbol! 2. Domestic web design environment <br />It is undeniable that the domestic web design environment is still at the primary cognitive stage. That is to say, most people do not know the real usefulness of the Internet. When you do a business, you have to do a lot of persuasion and education work. Trying to persuade Party A as Party B and educating non-professionals from a professional perspective, the result is predictable. It is precisely this generally low level of awareness in society that leads to the generation of a large amount of Internet spam. As a simple example, let’s look at the Chinese and English versions of the Alibaba website. The main color of the Chinese version is orange (the same as the logo color), while the main color of the English version is an extremely uncoordinated blue and orange (with a very obvious awkward effect). Why is the Chinese version orange? Haha, don’t think it’s for consistency with the logo. In fact, it was the most commonly used commercial color in the country at that time. What does orange represent? Flesh color, lust. Business is the nature? Greedy and materialistic. Orange is the most prominent embodiment of the general thinking of the masses in the primary stage of socialism. It is not only the preferred commercial color for web pages, it also reflects the "restlessness" and "corruption" under the conditions of today's social and economic development. It also shows that the Chinese people with "low cognitive levels" need to use this stimulating color to educate and guide them to passively accept. Why is the English version blue and orange? Because foreigners are already in a developed society, what they need first is not "missionary guidance" but "function." A weakened interface can enhance the display function and make it easier to use. More stimulating and warm colors would cause disgust among foreigners, so light blue-gray was used. So why does the extremely inconsistent orange color appear? There are two reasons. One is to unify the color with the logo, and the other is that Chinese and English must be inherited, so the final result of half fire and half sea water came about. Do you understand? The primary stage of socialism defines that all industries are in a primary stage, and this primary stage is ultimately determined by the "level of economic development".
