Reflections on the two viewpoints of “people-oriented” and “green design” ——Also discuss with colleagues in the design industry Reflection of Two Views: “People-oriented design” & “green design” —— Discussion with Scholars in Design Field Gu Qunye Wang Tuo Abstract : This article discusses two popular and controversial issues in the design community: whether design is people-oriented and the direction of green design. The author believes that "people-oriented" design is a paradox about man and nature. The "nature-oriented" design concept can better and more comprehensively express in the logical system that design must fully adapt to human biological characteristics, that is, human natural attributes; and the realization of green design should not stay at the level of thinking about how to transform nature, but should transform the ideas of "people", that is, abandon the "anthropocentrism" thinking concept, and use the wisdom of Eastern philosophy to pursue harmony between man and nature. The author of this article Thinking and draw a conclusion: “people-oriented design” is a human and nature of the paradox. The article's authors recognized that: "nature-based" logic of the design concept in the system to be able to better and more complete expression of the design must fully meet the biological characteristics. That is the natural human attributes. The author also believes that: the realization of green design should not remain on how to transform nature of the thinking level. Human beings should be rethinking their relationship with nature, and should abandon the "human center" concept. The author said: In contemporary, human should be through the use of human wisdom of the ancient Oriental philosophy, to achieve harmony with nature.
